Objectify Me. I like it.

I'm getting more confident with animation, as you can see - although it takes a lot of work to make a stamp like this one.

This stamp is basically a response to the issue of sexual "objectification", which seems to have become a buzz word in certain feminist circles. Frankly, I think it's a misrepresentation of an aspect that is intrinsically involved in the process of sexual desire. Evaluating someone as a sexual "object" is not, necessarily, mutually exclusive with the ability to treat them like a human being, and all this backlash against men giving women sexual attention (far above and beyond what might reasonably constitute sexism) seems to me to come from a rather sex-negative perspective.

If you don't like being sexually "objectified", that's fine. But I feel like we're coming dangerously close to wanting to police the way other people think about us. If somebody has sexual thoughts about you, I seriously don't see what the big deal is. People too easily forget in this day and age that human beings - as most forms of organic life - are, first and foremost, sexual creatures. Maybe I'm biased though. I like it when people sexually objectify me. It's pretty hot.
