PC Mentality

The problem with the PC mentality is that it constructs taboos. I'm all about being sensitive, especially towards minorities, but when it becomes unpopular to speak honestly about real experiences and feelings that people are having, then I think it's doing a disservice to our humanity.

To avoid allowing censorship and the chilling effect to infringe on our freedom of speech, we must relinquish our narrow-minded focus on what is being said, and pay attention rather to how and why it is being said. An opinion should never be taboo, no matter how offensive - only its deliberate use as a weapon to hurt others.
